Virginia Schmitt is a Venture Partner at B Capital focused on Investor Relations Operations. Virginia has been with the firm since 2017 and was previously in the CFO role before transitioning to the Investor Relations team is 2022.

Prior to joining B Capital, Virginia was a Vice President on the investment and operations teams at OpenGate Capital, a global lower-middle market focused private equity firm. She is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and began her career in the Transaction Advisory Services group at Ernst & Young.

Virginia spent her undergraduate years at the University of Southern California and earned a BS in Accounting from the Leventhal School of Accounting and BS in Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business. She is based in Los Angeles.
