He began his career in aerospace engineering before transitioning into software and data engineering. Prior to joining B Capital, he held roles at SP Digital, TikTok, and Prudential, where he developed data services, backend systems, and tools to improve scalability and efficiency across business lines.

Kai holds a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Engineering (Honors) from the University of Cambridge.

He is based in Singapore.
