B Capital is thrilled to welcome Marshall Lux as our newest Venture Partner focused on the FinTech sector. In this role, Marshall will support B Capital’s investment team as they evaluate potential investment opportunities, while also serving as an advisor to our portfolio companies as they develop their go-to-market and growth strategies.

Marshall brings over 40 years of experience across financial services and consulting. As a Senior Partner at McKinsey, he led the firm’s Risk, Private Equity and Technology practices. He then became Chief Risk Officer at JP Morgan Chase, overseeing risk management for all consumer products on a global scale. Most recently at BCG, where he remains an active Senior Advisor, Marshall help build the Firm’s  Private Equity practice and has worked with financial services companies on a multitude of issues. He currently sits on two public and three private company boards.

Marshall’s experience will be a powerful asset to B Capital’s growing FinTech portfolio that now includes 24 startups across North America and Asia. His deep knowledge of risk management and technology will help B Capital’s FinTech companies navigate an increasingly complex regulatory and competitive landscape. Furthermore, Marshall’s extensive network of C-Suite financial services executives will facilitate important connections and business development opportunities with top financial institutions.
