Karan Mohla is a General Partner at B Capital where he leads the South and Southeast Asia team. Karan has over two decades experience across finance and technology investing. At B Capital, he has invested across venture and growth investments, including Bhanzu, Sugar.fit, MoEngage, Turno, Nektar, Carro, Eureka Robotics among others.

Before joining B Capital, Karan was a Partner at Chiratae Ventures (formerly IDG Ventures India), where he invested in more than 20 companies in the ecommerce, SaaS, logistics, ed-tech, and gaming sectors, including companies such as FirstCry, Xpressbees, and HealthifyMe. Prior to Chiratae Ventures, Karan worked with QVT Finance LP, a U.S. based hedge fund, and in the technology banking group at Jefferies & Company in Silicon Valley, where he was subsequently a founding member of the India office.

Karan was recognized as one of the 40 under 40 leaders by Business World Magazine and one of the 40 under 40 Alternate Investment Professionals by the Indian Association of Alternative Investment Funds (IAAIF).

Karan earned a BBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and an MBA from INSEAD. He is based between Singapore and India.
