Abhiram (Abe) Kumar is a Principal at B Capital, where he focuses on early-stage investments. Abe combines his investing expertise with a strong background in startup operations, bringing valuable insights and support to ambitious  aiming to build transformative companies.

Before joining B Capital, Abe played a key role as the second business hire at Gather, a virtual office software company, where he led growth and go-to-market functions during a period of rapid expansion. Previously, Abe was investor at CapitalG, Alphabet’s $7 billion+ growth investment arm, where he focused on early-and growth-stage companies in the software, cybersecurity, fintech and healthcare sectors. Abe also contributed to launching CapitalG’s office in India. Before CapitalG, he was at Evercore, advising clients on mergers and acquisitions.

Abe holds a BS in Finance and Actuarial Science from New York University and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is based in New York.
