Ida Girma is a Principal on the investment team at B Capital. Prior to joining the firm, she was a private equity investor at TCG, and previously worked in consulting at Bain, investment banking at JP Morgan, and as an operator at clean energy finance startup, Nithio. Earlier in her career, she helped establish the impact investing practice at Arabella Advisors and worked with the United Nations World Food Programme in Ethiopia.

Ida loves working with teams harnessing technology to solve important problems. She earned her MBA at Stanford Graduate School of Business, MPA at Harvard Kennedy School, and BA magna cum laude at Columbia University. Outside of investing, you can find Ida playing music and enjoying nature.
