Nate Johnson is a Senior Associate on the Climate investment team at B Capital, where he focuses on companies driving decarbonization, resource efficiency and sustainable infrastructure.

Before joining B Capital, Nate was a Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group, where he advised clients in the energy and private equity sectors on strategy, operations and transformation. He also brings hands-on experience as both an investor and operator in climate tech, having worked at Energy Capital Ventures, a venture firm focused on decarbonization, and at two startups—Radia, a wind energy company, and Via Separations, an industrial decarbonization platform.

Nate holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is based in San Francisco.
