Nate Johnson is a Senior Associate on B Capital’s Energy Tech investment team, where he focuses on growth-stage companies innovating across energy and other critical industries.

Prior to B Capital, Nate was a Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group, advising energy and private equity clients on strategy, operations and large-scale transformations. He also brings hands-on climate tech experience as both an investor and operator, having worked with Energy Capital Ventures and startups including Radia and Via Separations. Nate holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

He is based in San Francisco.
