Karly is an Investor in the San Francisco office. Previously, she was a Vice President at Stonepeak Partners, a Blackstone spin-out private equity fund which grew from $2bn AUM to $14bn AUM during her tenure, where she primarily focused on energy and infrastructure investments and initiated coverage of the chemicals sector. Prior to Stonepeak, Karly was an investment banker for Morgan Stanley, focusing on M&A and capital raising in the transportation and logistics sectors. She also worked in Business Development & Strategy for Ike Robotics, an AV trucking start-up, designing their Transfer Hub product.
Karly earned a BA in Physics from Middlebury College and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. At the GSB, Karly led Stanford’s chapter of The MBA Fund, making 7 seed-stage investments in student-founded start-ups. She was also a Venture Fellow for January Ventures, investing in female-founded start-ups, and launched a women’s investment club for public equity trading. Karly loves outdoor activities, particularly skiing, cycling, and most recently, open water swimming.
