Jeff Johnson is a General Partner at B Capital focused on climate.

With nearly 25 years of investment, entrepreneurship and corporate experience across climate and technology, Jeff most recently served as a Managing Director at Temasek, where he led the global sustainable investing function, as well as the North American climate investment team.

Previously, he ran a boutique advisory business focused on scaling of sustainable businesses and co-founded and was on the Board of Xpansiv, the world’s leading provider of market infrastructure for environmental commodities. Earlier in his career, Jeff worked in innovation business development at ABB, leading growth initiatives for new sustainable products and services, and held leadership and business development and technical roles at Better Place, Vendavo and Intel Corporation.

Jeff earned a BS in Industrial Engineering from University of Florida and an MS in Engineering Systems from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is based in San Francisco.
